INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Until his appointment to the Interim CEO role, Mr. Ferraro served as President, Americas, for Avis Budget Group. In this role, Mr. Ferraro was responsible for the Company’s Avis, Budget, Payless and Zipcar brands in North and South America, including Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Ferraro was previously Senior Vice President of Operations, North America, where he oversaw all Avis and Budget car and truck rental operations in the United States and Canada, including airport and local market locations. He has 40 years of experience with Avis Budget Group, holding various positions of increasing responsibility.
Mr. Ferraro holds a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
John F. North, III
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
John F. North, III was named Chief Financial Officer for Avis Budget Group in February 2019. He oversees all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and financial reporting, tax, internal audit, investor relations, and treasury and risk management.
Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. North spent 17 years at Lithia Motors, Inc., a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest automotive retailers in the United States. During his tenure he held various leadership roles in finance, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. North was instrumental in transforming Lithia’s finance and accounting functions as the company grew significantly from 2010 to 2018 and completing numerous acquisitions and integrating the businesses.
Mr. North holds a degree in Finance from Santa Clara University, is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA® Charterholder.
Keith Rankin is President of International, at Avis Budget Group. In this role, he is responsible for overall leadership of the company’s international region, which includes Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Mr. Rankin joined the Company in June 2019 from Barloworld in South Africa, where he held the position of Chief Executive for the automotive division since March 2015. Barloworld is a distributor of leading global brands, providing integrated rental, fleet management, product support and logistics solutions – and a licensee partner of Avis Budget Group.
Mr. Rankin began his career at Avis in 1998 and was appointed Chief Executive of Avis Car Rental Southern Africa in 2004. In 2007, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of car rental, part of Barloworld’s automotive division that included southern Africa and Scandinavian car rental operations.
Mr. Rankin holds B.Com and B.Com (Honors) degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER
Arthur Orduña is Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of Avis Budget Group, a leading global provider of mobility solutions. In this role, he is responsible for leading innovation globally across all of the Company’s brands to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to keep pace with changing customer expectations and to foster a culture of innovation to drive the business forward.
Before joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. Orduña served as Chief Innovation Officer for The ADT Corporation, where he was responsible for building the strategic roadmap for new and existing solutions, defining product architecture and positioning ADT as a partner of choice for key technology companies. Prior to joining ADT, he worked for Canoe Ventures, LLC, a joint venture founded by the top six U.S. cable companies, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and then Chief Product Officer.
Mr. Orduña has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. He also attended the MFA Graduate Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Mr. Insall was previously senior vice president and chief information officer, and prior to that, he served as vice president of IT operations where he led the segregation of IT systems when Cendant Corporation separated its division into stand-alone companies and created Avis Budget Group, Inc.
Mr. Insall has held various management positions working with Cendant Corporation, Avis Rent A Car, WizCom International LTD and Resorts Condominium International in the areas of application development, business systems management, project management, relationship management, and IT operations.
Mr. Insall has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Saint John’s University in New York.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Ned Linnen is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Avis Budget Group, a leading global provider of mobility solutions. In this role, he oversees Avis Budget Group’s global human resources activities including: organizational development, labor and employee relations, talent acquisition and diversity strategies, total rewards strategies, equal employment compliance, health and safety, and employee engagement initiatives.
Mr. Linnen joined Avis Budget Group in 2001, and has since held positions of increased responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for North America, Vice President of Labor Relations, Vice President of International Human Resources, Vice President of Domestic Human Resources, and Field Human Resources Director.
Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. Linnen served in various positions within human resources at Kraft Foods Inc. and Nabisco, Inc. He holds has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from Misericordia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and Psychology from King’s College.
Michael K. Tucker
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL COUNSEL AND CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Michael K. Tucker is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Avis Budget Group, a leading global provider of mobility solutions. In this role, Mr. Tucker is responsible for the legal affairs of the Company, including management of its franchising and other contracts, litigation, government relations and information security.
Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. Tucker was in private practice serving as Managing Partner at the law firm of Tucker Associates, and of counsel to the law firm of Lowe & Savage, where he represented private and public entities, handling corporate, securities, finance and commercial transaction matters. His long tenure as a corporate attorney includes service as Division General Counsel with Tyco International, Ltd.
Mr. Tucker also served in senior legal positions with General Electric Company, including Division Senior Counsel of GE Transportation and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of GE Capital International Services. Before working as a corporate attorney, Mr. Tucker was a member of the law firms of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, Bingham Dana LLP, and Csaplar & Bok.
Mr. Tucker received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
